Empowering Michigan Educators
For the Artificial Intelligence Era
Positive Light Learning Network (PLPLN) is Michigan’s AI-Powered Professional Learning Infrastructure—providing the operating system school districts use to create, manage, deliver, track, and scale professional learning.
Designed for Future MDE SCECH Sponsor Readiness
Positive Light Learning Network is building a professional learning and micro-credential system designed for future Michigan SCECH sponsor readiness. Completion certificates and micro-credentials are not the same as awarded SCECH credit unless processed through an approved SCECH sponsor and MOECS.
AI Educator Training Programs
Curriculum aligned to standard frameworks and designed for classroom readiness.
AI Literacy & Core Theory
Gain foundational knowledge in deep learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), neural networks, and prompt workflows. Understand how modern neural systems evaluate inputs.
Prompt Engineering
Master instructional prompt design, lesson planners, rubrics creation, and automated student feedback. Learn how to draft classroom assets securely and efficiently.
Ethics, FERPA & Safety
Establish robust guardrails regarding student data privacy, automated biases, academic integrity, and compliance policies in modern digital workspaces.
Competency-Based Micro-Credentials
Standard hours represent contact, but true excellence is shown through artifacts. Our platform supports professional micro-credentials based on evidence review:
- Evidence-Based Portfolios: Educators upload real lesson plans and prompt structures tested with classrooms.
- Double-Blind Peer Grading: Submissions are assessed against rigorous rubrics by certified instruction leads.
- 1EdTech Open Badges 2.0: Credentials map to IMS standard schemas, including cryptographic metadata embedded directly inside SVG badges for global verification.
Cryptographic Verification System
Every completion certificate issued by the PLPLN includes a unique, signed cryptographic hash ensuring records cannot be forged or tampered with.
State auditors or school administrators can enter this certificate ID or scan the stamp's QR code to pull live verified rosters, check-in history, agendas, and approval packets instantly.
Statewide Professional Learning Infrastructure
We provide the underlying professional learning operating system that school districts, ISDs, charter schools, and workforce development networks use to build, manage, verify, and scale educator technology competencies and certificate delivery.
