Micro-Credential Portfolio Engine

Competency pathways, reflection logs, and double-blind peer review portfolio review workspaces.

What it is

A workflow coordination engine designed to evaluate practical teaching evidence through structured rubric grading and anonymous double-blind peer review desks.

Problem it solves

Removes bias and subjective grading from teacher evaluations by routing classroom artifacts through anonymous evaluation protocols.

What is Included

  • Educator artifact upload portal
  • Double-blind routing queue generator
  • Interactive criteria rubrics
  • Grievance and appeals manager

What the Customer Receives

  • •Reviewer dashboard access
  • •Preloaded evaluation rubrics
  • •User guides for submitting educators

How it works

  1. 1Step 1: Educators upload classroom-ready evidence (videos, lesson outputs).
  2. 2Step 2: System anonymizes the submission and assigns it to two random reviewers.
  3. 3Step 3: Reviewers score the artifacts using official rubrics.
  4. 4Step 4: Successful assessments issue digital badges; discrepant scores route to a lead auditor.

Understanding Credential and Credit Classifications

To maintain absolute regulatory clarity and compliance, please review the operational differences between completion records, state clock hours, occupational certifications, and digital badges.

Completion Certificate

Documentary proof of course participation and syllabus completion. Issued instantly upon passing course exit requirements. Does not carry state-recognized continuing education credits on its own.

State-Recognized Credit (SCECH)

Official clock hours awarded by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) for teacher certificate renewal. Requires processing by an approved SCECH sponsor and official upload to the MOECS registry.

Professional Certification

Formally accredited occupational credentials certifying standard compliance, professional standards mastery, or agency authorization to perform specialized educational roles.

Micro-Credential

Competency-based digital badge representing demonstrated mastery of a specific discrete skill. Granted after double-blind portfolio evaluation of classroom-ready evidence.
